The Team KMan Bike Ride for Saturday, December 19, is the Linne/Geneseo, La Panza, O’Donovan Loop. After going northeast and then southeast, the route circles back around to Creston, where there is a stop for refreshments.
From Creston the two main options to return to Atascadero are:
1) by way of Highways 229 and 58, for a ride of 68.6 miles and 3,112 feet of climbing https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28990215); or
2) by way of Highway 41 and Cripple Creek Road, for a ride of 64.1 miles and 2900 feet of climbing https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28990208).
Of course, there are various ways for individual riders to shorten or lengthen the route to suit any special needs they might have.
The riders will gather at KMan Cycle and Run in Atascadero at 9:00 a.m., and depart at 9:08.
