The ride for Tuesday, December 15, will be the Creston Loop, counter-clockwise, via Rocky Canyon, and Hwy 229, returning to Malibu Brew for refreshments. Here are the particulars:
Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial of the Atascadero Lake Park. Ride out Amapoa, right on Curbaril, through the intersection with El Camino Real and continue on Curbaril as it turns into Sycamore. Make a left on Capistrano, left on Mercedes and a left on Highway 41. Then it’s right on Rocky Canyon, right on Halcon, left on Viejo Camino and left on ECR. Detour through Garden Farms and then continue on ECR to Hwy 58. We’ll follow Hwy 58 to a left on Hwy 229, and into Creston for a quick re-group. Then it’s right on Hwy 41, left on Camp 8 (new pavement), right on Creston Road and left on South El Pomar. Continue to a left on Homestead, right on Hwy 41, right on Mercedes and onto Malibu Brew for coffee.
