The ride for Tuesday, November 24, will take us up the climb on Park Hill Road and down the descent on Huer Huero Road. We’ll return to Atascadero via O’Donovan and Hwy 41. Here are the details:
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial at Atascadero Lake Park. We will go out to Santa Rosa, turn left and follow it to a right turn onto El Camino Real. After a detour through Garden Farms, we will take El Camino to Highway 58, where we turn left.
We will ride out 58 to Park Hill Road, where we will turn right and do the climb. After we get to the top, we will continue along the rim until we reach Huer Huero Road, where we will turn left and descend down to Highway 58. We will turn right on Highway 58, to a left on O’Donovan, right on Hwy 229 and left on Hwy 41. We’ll take Hwy 41 into Atascadero, turn right on Mercedes and onto Malibu Brew for coffee. This ride is 45 miles long.
