The ride for Tuesday, September 22, will be the O’Donovan Road version of the Creston Loop, then back to The Nest, for refreshments. Here are the particulars:
Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial of the Atascadero Lake Park. Ride out Amapoa, right on Curbaril, through the intersection with El Camino Real, then left on Santa Ysabel and right on Highway 41. From there we will go left on Templeton, right on Lupine, right on El Pomar, right on Cripple Creek and left on Highway 41. We will then turn right onto Highway 229, and after a brief regrouping stop in Creston, ride east on O’Donovan, to Highway 58. A right turn will then take us all the way to El Camino Real in Santa Margarita. Turn right and head north on El Camino Real to Sandoval Road. Turn right on Sandoval, then left on Santa Clara, right on Los Palos into Santa Barbara, then right on Viejo Camino and right again on ECR, and onto The Nest, for coffee.
