The ride for Saturday, May 11, is the Linne/Geneseo, La Panza, O’Donovan Loop. After going east on Linne, Geneseo and La Panza, the ride will swing back around to Creston via Highway 58 and O’Donovan. There will be a stop for refreshments in Creston. From there the two main options to return to Atascadero are the following:
1) by way of Highways 229 and 58, for a ride of 68.6 miles and 3,112 feet of climbing (see the map and cue sheet at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28990215); or
2) by way of Highway 41 and Cripple Creek Road, for a ride of 64.1 miles and 2900 feet of climbing (see the map and cue sheet at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28990208).
There are quite a few ways that individual riders can either shorten or lengthen the route to suit their particular needs.
The riders will gather at KMan Cycle and Run in Atascadero at 8:30 a.m., and depart at 8:38.
