The Team KMan Bike Ride for Saturday, April 20, is the Pozo Loop, counterclockwise. There will be a stop at the ranger station in Pozo for water and self-supplied refreshments. For those who do more than the minimal version of the route (which returns directly to Atascadero via Parkhill Road and Highway 58) there will be another refreshment stop in Creston.
The riders will gather at KMan Cycle and Run in Atascadero at 8:30 a.m., and depart at 8:38.
Those who do the official route, which returns to Atascadero from Creston by way of Highways 229 and 58, will end up with 70.2 miles and 3,632 feet of elevation gain. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/29755613
Those who return to Atascadero via Creston, Cripple Creek and South El Pomar Roads, will end up riding 67.2 miles with 3,496 feet of climbing.
Those who do the minimal version of the Pozo Loop will cover about 55 miles with about 3,000 feet of climbing.
