Looks like rain for Saturday, so here is a ride for Friday, March 1st.
The ride for Friday, March 1, will be the Creston Loop, counterclockwise, returning to Bru, in Atascadero for refreshments. Here are the particulars:
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial at Atascadero Lake Park. We will go out to Santa Rosa, turn left and then bear right on Old Santa Rosa. At West Front, we’ll take a right there and proceed for a few blocks to San Rafael, where we will turn right and then left onto Colorado. Then it is down the hill, right on San Diego and then left onto Atascadero Ave. We will take Atascadero into Santa Barbara to San Antonio, where we will go right to Carmel, right to Morningside. It is then left on Morningside, left again on Santa Margarita Road and rightonto El Camino. Following a detour through Garden Farms, continue to a left on Highway 58 to Highway 229, where we will go left again. In Creston, there will be a short regrouping stop. We will then proceed to Highway 41, where we will turn right, then left onto Rancho La Loma Linda, which we will follow to Camp 8, and then left to Creston Road. We will then make a right turn onto Creston Road, left on Cripple Creek, then right on El Pomar and left on South El Pomar, over the Chicago Grade, and left on Homestead. Turn right on Hwy 41, then right on Mercedes, go down the hill and make our way to Bru, for refreshments.
