The Team KMan Bike Ride for Saturday, December 8, is the Pozo Loop, counterclockwise. There will be a stop at the ranger station in Pozo for water and self-supplied refreshments. For those who do more than the minimalist version of the route (which returns directly to Atascadero via Parkhill Road and Highway 58) there will be another refreshment stop in Creston.
The riders will gather at KMan Cycle and Run in Atascadero at 8:30a.m., and depart at 8:38.
The minimalist version of the Pozo Loop is about 55 miles and 3,000 feet of climbing. Those who go to Creston before returning to Atascadero will end up with about 67 or 68 miles and 3,500 feet of climbing. For those who want to make this into a 100-mile ride to satisfy their Trifecta obligation, there are various ways to expand the route for that purpose.
Team KMan has been encouraging and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, while having fun, since 2003. For Information on Team KMan and how to join please visit us at http://www.teamkman.org/
