This ride will be ‘social’ in nature and ridden at a relaxed pace. All are invited to attend.
The ride for Thursday, September 6, will be the Camp 8 Loop, then back to Atascadero for refreshments at Joebella’s. Here are the ride route particulars:
Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial of the Atascadero Lake Park. Ride east on Amapoa, right at Curbaril, to Sycamore, Capistrano and Mercedes and then left on Highway 41, left on Templeton, right on Lupine Lane. We then turn right on El Pomar, left on Cripple Creek and right on Creston all the way to Highway 41, where we will turn left. We again turn left on Rancho La Loma Linda, which we will follow to Camp 8 and back out to Creston Road. There we will turn right and continue until we reach South El Pomar Road, where we will turn left and continue all the way down the Chicago Grade to Homestead Road, where we will turn left again. After that it is a right turn at Highway 41. After going over the bridge, we turn right on Mercedes, go down the hill and straight through the intersection with Capistrano onto Via. From there it is over the little bridge, followed by a right turn onto Traffic Way. After a mile or so, we will make a left turn at Chico, right turn at Del Rio, left turn at San Benito, and head over the last hill to El Camino Real, where we turn left to get to Joebella’s for refreshments.
