Let’s ride to Creston and Paso counterclockwise!

We will gather at K-Man Atascadero at 8:00am and roll at 8:08, riding south on El Camino (No Grandpa’s Pond) all the way to Santa Margarita to left on 58 (regroup at the park) to left on 229 (regroup at base) and climb up (optional regroup at top) and cruise down to Creston (regroup).  From Creston we will continue on 229 to right on 41, then left on Creston road all the way to straight on Geneseo (regroup) which we will take (optional regroup at the top) all the way to Union (regroup and discussion of refueling in Paso).  At Union we will go left and ride all the way to River to right on 13th street  and into Paso at 37ish miles for a refueling stop TBD by rider consensus.   After refueling riders can head home by way of personal choice with three alternatives presented below:

49 miles with 2600’ of climbing:  Riders wishing to head directly home may do so by way of 13thstreet to right River Walk to left on Navajo to right on River Road all the way to left on Neal Spring, right on Hollyhock to right on El Pomar to left on Lupine to left on Templeton Rd, arriving at Highway 41 for a ride of 49 miles.  Please see the Ride with GPS link for route details: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27871257

62 mile with 3993 feet of climbing: Riders looking for a bit more climbing may ride Peachy by heading west on 13th to left on Olive to right on Peachy and then Willow/Vineyard/Templeton Rd, arriving at Highway 41 for a ride of 62 miles.  Please see the Ride with GPS link for route details: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26672933

67.8  with 4216 feet of climbing: Riders preferring the climb of Adelaida may ride Vine/Nacimiento Lake/Adelaida/Vineyard/Willow/Vineyard/Templeton Rd back to Highway 41 for a ride of 67.8 miles.   Please see the Ride with GPS link for route details:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20039621
