TEAM KMAN RIDE

LOCATION: K-MAN ATASCADERO

Let’s join Len and ride out to Klau Mine to visit the resident Bald Eagle and back on Adelaida with the choices of 1) the Chimney Rock Extension or not and 2) returning directly home or riding on into Paso for refreshments.
We will gather the K-Man Atascadero shop at 8:30 and roll at 8:38, heading left on El Camino to right on Curbaril to left on Santa Ysabel to right on Hwy 41. After a left on Templeton road we will continue to left at El Pomar to straight on Vineyard all the way to Hwy 46. We will cross the highway and continue on Vineyard until a right on Willow to a left on Peachy to a right on Vineyard all the way to Adelaida. We will turn left on Adelaida and continue to a straight/left on Klau mine where we will descend with care and continue around to right on Cypress Mountain drive which we will take all the way to Chimney Rock.
52.4 miles with 3600’ climbing: Those riders opting for the 52 mile route will head directly up Chimney Rock to a right on Adelaida to a right on Vineyard and retrace their ride back to the shop. Please see the Ride with GPS link below for route details:
Note that riding the Chimney Rock extension would add approximately 10 miles to the above route.
71 miles with 5000’ climbing: Those riders opting for the 71 mile route will continue straight/left on Chimney Rock for the beautiful and remote 10 miles out and back to the gate on Chimney Rock after which they will continue up the climb on Chimney rock to right on Adelaida which they will take up and over and into Paso on Nacimiento Lake Road taking a right on Vine to a left on 13th street for refreshments at Kreuzberg. After re-fueling riders will continue left to 13th street to the River Trail to S. River road all the way to left on Neil Spring to right on Hollyhock to right on El Pomar to left on Lupine to left on Templeton Road all the way to Hwy 41.
